Manual Lymphatic drainage (MLD)

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very gentle, 'light touch' form of manual therapy based on pumping, circular and spiral-shaped movements, which encourages the lymph fluid to flow more freely around the body. 

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is suitable for anyone with the following conditions:

  • Pain: joint swelling, muscular pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, migraine, chronic headaches

  • Fluid retention: swollen feet and ankles, puffy eyes or face

  • Respiratory conditions: sinusitis, nasal congestion

  • Immune conditions: recurring colds & flu, recurring inflammation & infections, 

  • Bruising

  • Injury recovery: bruising, swelling

  • Digestive conditions: chronic constipation, flatulence, bloating, Irritable Bowel Syndrome

  • Stress, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, lethargy
